This year's event is taking place at Cardiff University's Talybont Student Village in the Centre of Cardiff. The venue is on several major transport routes and should be easily accessible for everyone.

The address of the venue is:

Talybont Sport's Centre,
Bevan Place
Cardiff CF14 3UX

However if you plan to use a satnav DO NOT use the above postcode (as it will lead you to a locked gate) instead use the postcode CF14 3AT. Below are basic directions and instructions to get to the venue.

By Car
From the East: Travel along the M4 until J29 then take the A48(M), carry on the A48(M) as it becomes the A48 then take a left at first set of traffic lights (Tesco), continue down road and take the first exit at the roundabout and then immediately right (in front of McDonalds). Finally take the right fork to enter Talybont (you may need to use the intercom at the gate to gain access). The sports centre is next to the main car park so we suggest you park here.
From the West: Travel along M4 until J34 then take the A470 south towards Cardiff, at the major roundabout for the A48 join the A48 westbound (4th exit), take a left at first set of traffic lights (Tesco), continue down road and take the first exit at the roundabout and then immediately right (in front of McDonalds). Finally take the right fork to enter Talybont (you may need to use the intercom at the gate to gain access). The sports centre is next to the main car park so we suggest you park here.

By Train
The best station to use is Cardiff Central, from here you can get a bus, taxi or walk (around 40 minutes) to the venue, if you do decide to walk you could catch a further train to Cathays to save around 15 minutes.

By Bus
From Cardiff Central Station (or various other places in Cardiff) you can get any of the 21, 23, 24 or 27 services (the 27 is the most frequent) to the venue. Cardiff has a two ticket system meaning you can either by a single (same price for any destination in Cardiff) for £1.50 or an unlimited day ticket for £3. The best stop to get off on is the one opposite the Aston Martin showroom (this will be on your right), which is just after a petrol station (previous stop), Subway and Tesco (all on your left). From this stop walk down Parkfield Place, over the railway bridge and then turn right into Talybont North (the Sport's Centre is now sign posted), once through the gates if you follow the road to the right and then around to the left (in front of the Talybont Social) you will arrive at the Sports Centre.

By Taxi
If you ask for a Taxi to Talybont South this will get you practically to the Sport's Centre and will be much cheaper than getting a Taxi to the door the door of the Centre (due to the previously mentioned locked gate). From where the taxi will drop you off (with the bridge over the railway behind you) turn right into Talybont North (the Sport's Centre is now sign posted), once through the gates if you follow the road to the right and then around to the left (in front of the Talybont Social) you will arrive at the Sports Centre.

By Plane
From Cardiff airport there is a frequent shuttle bus connecting the Airport to the local train line (Rhoose Station), from here there are regular (hourly) services to Cardiff Central alternatively you can catch the X91 bus Service to Cardiff Central. From Cardiff Central you can get a bus, taxi or walk (around 40 minutes) to the venue, if you do decide to walk you could catch a train to Cathays to save around 15 minutes. If you do plane to arrive by plane please let us know in advance as we may be able to arrange pick up from the Airport (this is not guaranteed).
